Treat Acne With Household Products

Having pimples all over your face can be very devastating. These pimples just pop up on your face when you least expect them. If you have a special occasion coming up, then you may be looking for a quick fix method to get rid of your pimples. The following tips will ensure minimum blemishes for most people suffering from mild forms of acne, although those with more severe acne should always consult a dermatologist for specific treatment.
1. Beat one egg white until very stiff. Add a couple of drops of fresh lemon juice or one or two drops of witch hazel. Apply this mixture to the face and allow to stand for one or two minutes. Before it dries, simply rinse the face with warm water and follow with a cool rinse.
2. Application of fresh lemon juice is the most popular way of acne scar removal. Dip a cotton ball into the juice and apply it over them. Wait for around 15 minutes and then wash off the face with plain water. If lemon juice tends to irritate your skin, then dilute it with some rose water and apply.
3. Tea tree oil - Tea tree oil is great for "killing" off bacteria on your skin, therefore, it can be used to help remove pimples and to help get rid of the bacteria that is making the problem worse. This is a very simple way of reducing the chances of more pimples appearing.
4. Drink a tea of Echinacea and Goldenseal. These herbs help discourage infection and help dry out the fluid in your ear. If you do not have the dried herbs, you can buy a tincture of the two from any health food store. Place a few drops in hot water to make tea. As another alternative, you can purchase capsules of these herbs at the health food store.
5. This has an amazing effect on the acne marks. Firstly, prepare a thick paste by mixing up baking soda and water. Apply it gently over the blemishes in circular motions and then rinse off with water. This will exfoliate the pigmented skin cells and expose the underlying clear skin.

6. This is an excellent remedy for acne marks. Combine some camphor powder with coconut oil and apply it over the acne pigments. Keep it on them for few minutes and the wash off.
7. Be aware of what you put on your face - if you are a female then it is quite likely that you wear make-up on your face, you should know that there are chemicals in make-up that MIGHT have a negative affect on your skin, now. This is certainly not definite for all make-ups, it is something that you need to find out about for each specific one you use, some may not have a negative affect at all.
8. Vitamin A reduces your skin's oil production, and it also strengthens the protective tissue in your skin. Therefore, adding Vitamin A to your diet can make your skin stronger and less oily. In addition, Vitamin A is an antioxidant that helps to flush toxins from your body, making your skin healthier and less prone to breakouts.
